4 Ways to Tell if the Man your Dating is For Real

A couple of days ago i was reading this article that was about dating and how to really tell if he is a keeper or if you should delete him out of your memory banks.  

In this post I’ll give you a brief synopsis of what i think you should take away from this article i read in the Cosmopolitan quiz section.  

  1. Find out if he is the naturally jealous type.  Every guy experiences a little bit of jealousy inside himself as time goes on, but the jealous type lets that jealousy interfere with his personality and life.  This is the type of man you do not want to find yourself with. To find out give him a test.  Go out onto the dance floor in a club to have some innocent fun and pay attention to his reaction.  If he starts giving the other guys around you dirty looks then you know its time to think about things.  If he doesn’t show any drastic changes then congratulations on your find.
  2. Is your guy Cheap?  To find out if he is just a frugal spender or an actual cheap-o checkout how he tips a waiter the next time you go out to dinner.  Does he need a reason to give the waiter a generous tip or does he automatically throw down the usual percentage of the bill?  A guy can be frugal with his money, but generous at the same time so make sure to closely observe and analyze.
  3. Does he look scared when you talk about commitment and your future?  Most guys are labeled as being scared of commitment and rightfully so they are just looking for a good time.  To find out if he is scared of commitment without scaring him off invite him to a casual party or outing with your family members present.  See how he acts towards them.  If he is the uncommitted type he might be shy and quiet.  If he really want to move to the next level he could say things like “your mom and dad look so cute together”.  
  4. Can you give him your trust?  This is the final question you have to ask yourself before acknowledging that your guy is for real.  Make sure to give him his space and not smother him since over attention can lead to cheating.  Subtly bring up a situation where someone you know was cheated on and observe what his views are on that.

Overall, these 4 steps are what you can do to tell if your man is for real and not just another one of those memories you wish you could erase.
